| The Town of Azille |
The charming and ancient town of Azille is situated in the Minervois Region of the Languedoc
between the Canal Midi immediately to the south and the Black Mountains to the north. A town of
1072 inhabitants, it offers within walking distance conveniences such as an excellent bakery,
grocery store, lively café, hairdresser, various wine makers, and medical services. The nearby
towns of La Redorte, Homps, Olonzac and Rieux only minutes way offer a variety of shopping
services and restaurants to choose from.
The original town was built in a circle around it's 14th Century church. Our house is just around
the corner from this church
